Four friends, all with a passion for food, wanted to bring something different and exciting to Exeter. Whilst traveling to other cities, the variety of food choices available inspired us to bring something similar to Exeter. Our city deserves more than just ‘bread-based’ meal deals!!
Hannah, Lee (hence… ‘Han’‘lee’s), Matt and Rachel want to offer ‘Quick Food for Foodies’, in a location ideally situated between Exeter’s office district (Southernhay) and the High Street! Whether you are on your way to work, nipping out on your lunch break or enjoying a visit to the city centre, we have you covered for all your food & drink needs!
Hanlee’s serve a variety of breakfast options from Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit, porridge & oats to freshly baked pastries & breakfast sandwiches. As well as delicious lunch options to choose from including our beautiful ‘help yourself’ salad bar, homemade soups & broths, hot pasta dishes, gourmet hot & cold sandwiches and jacket potatoes with ‘moreish’ fillings. Plus, we have teamed up with a local coffee roaster, Voyager from Buckfastleigh, to supply a range of exceptional coffees, premium hot chocolate and selection of quality teas.

As a special treat for the weekend (on Friday and Saturday mornings), we are serving our ‘moreish’ Hanlee’s Breakfast Sandwich (bacon+egg frittata) or be good with some fresh fruit instead!
Come and try our unique salad bar with over 15 delicious individual salad dishes to pick from, where you can create your own salad box!
Or why not try something from our hot menu, including homemade soups & broths, ‘melt-in-your-mouth’ jacket potatoes, gourmet sausage rolls, bangin’ chilli & rice or our pasta of the day! And then there’s our artisan sandwiches (a range of cold or grilled options to pick from on locally baked breads).

Our fridge is filled with a range of soft drinks, juices, and waters.
We are proud to partner with a number of local bakeries to offer a range of delicious slices, brownies, and sweet treats. Pop in to try them at Hanlees.
Plus, we freshly bake pastries in-house to enjoy in the mornings.
If you want to bring a bit of panache and ‘foodie flair” to your business meetings (but still within budget!), we can cater for big and small corporate meetings and events.
